A young man struggling to communicate with his lover whispers his feelings into a cigarette in hopes that, once smoked by the lover, he will finally understand the man's anguish, or rather that they are the cause of it.
Smoke Signals was a challenge project following a last-minute request from my old university film society festival to help fill competition spots. Written, filmed and edited across four days - this project pushed me to see how well I could do with limited resources, and I'm very proud of the results. This was a great opportunity to give back to the community which helped me grow as a filmmaker and a creative.
